Large portions, big enough for two or more are complimented with excellent service and great tasting food. Mickey makes the rounds stopping to talk with each patron asking whether their choices were up to their expectations and inviting them back. It just makes you want to come back again and again.
I can only say good things about this place. I am a simple guy and I order simple meals. I leave all the exotic choices to those epicureans whose palate is much more tuned than my own. The pasta fagioli was right on. It has good flavor and good texture. It could have been a bit thicker but that's more my personal choice.
I split a full order of spaghetti and meatballs, which was more than enough for two, with another meal to take home. No complaints about the meatballs. Three extra large meatballs "the size of ya head" topped a pile of spaghetti.
It's a great place to go with a group. That way you can sample more of the delightfully tasting entrees.
Mickey's Luca Bella gets a top ranking from me. I will be going back soon for another wonderful family style Italian dinner.
