Conca D'oro

Conca D'oro is located on the N.W. corner of Young Circle in Hollywood. The building has been remodeled and they have added on more space over the years, but the food is still consistently wonderful! Michelle and I stop in several times a year just to make sure that everything is still the same.

On our last visit we were treated to a self accompanied singer who was just wonderful. He crooned many old favorites and with a few glasses of wine it made for a very romantic evening.


As usual the food was magnificent and the service was impeccable. They start with a basket of delicious hot bread and our drinks. The servings are very generous so Michelle and I decided to get an appetizer and a dinner and split them. We started with a beautiful salad.

The salad was complimented with the appetizer: meatballs with fresh ricotta.

The main course came out next. We decided on Chicken Parmagiana which we split. Even split it was too much for us and we ended up taking some home.

We were too full for dessert but we had a great time listening to the singer and eating a wonderful dinner. If you are in the East Hollywood area this is a great place to go for a nice dinner.
